Crop Top Sweater Pattern
This weeks pattern is a special one that I am so excited to bring to you! It’s a crop top sweater pattern that is perfect for a night out on the town, a cozy project or a gift to make to a fashionista in your life.
You can get the pattern here on my shop. If you do, thank you! Please let me know what you think and I’d love to see your versions and recreations!
Date Night Video:
I made a video showcasing my date night outfit using this sweater. I hope you love! This is a different type of video for me to do, I hope you love!
The inspiration for this pattern was actually a follower/reader of mine that reached out. She showed me a picture of a pattern she wanted to make for her granddaughter and I said I would make her a pattern similar to the one she showed. So obviously, I wouldn’t suggest a crop top for a child, but when I made it for myself I realized it fit and looked super nice cropped! Now that this pattern is up and live I can’t wait to send it to the original reader. Oh yea did I mention she is from the Netherlands? How cool is that! I love that I get readers from all over – Love it!
Anyway, I love how this pattern turned out and I love how the yarn I used, is warm, thick and sparkly. I mean, I love sparkles, who doesn’t! I used about 4 balls of that yarn. The pattern worked up easy and I had a lot of fun designing it! I labeled this as an intermediate pattern, because I think that the construction of the pattern is harder than most beginner patterns. However, the stitches and the techniques are easy.
That just goes to show you that sometimes the most difficult things just have to be broken down and then they don’t seem to be so difficult.
