What It Is
This is a subscription box service that connects unique yarn companies and patterns and then brings it to your doorstep! Once you order your box of the month you will have it shipped to you! Unlike other programs where you have to wait or order at a certain time.
What I Got
I got this beautiful yarn from ___ and it is in the color Okra – a cool toned green shade that I love! The pattern is for some fingerless mittens which I really love beacuse it’s cold here, but I am hopeful that it will warm up soon so these will be an awesome fashion accessory!
We also got some wooden buttons the box…I have to say these are nice but I wish they came in a bag instead of loose in the box.
My Final Thoughts
I think the subscription service is great! I love the convenience of ordering and I love the yarn that was chosen this month. I will have to check back in the next few months to make sure the quality of a yarn is consistent, but overall I am very impressed with the yarn that I got.
I thought that the pattern was really nice as well. It was easy to follow which is great and worked up quickly. I should have made mine smaller because my hand is the size of an infant, but that doesn’t bother me because I like how they feel and I sewed them a little tighter so that I don’t have to worry about them falling off.
The only thing I would change is the packaging of the “extra.” But besides that I think this box is well worth it!
So! I would love to know how you feel about the yarn of the month box? have you gotten yours? If not check it out here!!
