End Of Summer Crafts for Kids
Hey everyone! So today’s post has been a long time coming and I apologize for my sporadic absence. I will update you on that in a future post! Today’s post will be an end of summer crafts and ideas for kids. I know that a lot of kids are home from camp but don’t start school yet, and I also know that it has been super duper hot and these are great projects to do inside.
P.s I had so much more photos but my phone broke last week and I think I lost them all #ineedtostartusingthiscloud.
Yarn Wrapped Letters
I am a huge amazon prime shopper and I always get boxes that I break down and recycle. When my niece and nephew are over I got a big package and I realized I didn’t have to recycle it. So I used it to make a fun craft for the twins. They are 4 and it was a really good project for that age
So first I took the cardboard and I cut out their initials – L and H. Then I let them pick some yarn from my super sparse yarn stash (kidding, of course). and they just wrapped it! They had so much fun choosing the yarns and feeling the different textures. This is a great sensory activity as well!
This project was super fun as well because all kids love music! We went to a drum circle in my town one night and everyone had these cool drums. I decided to use plastic cups because it was just there and some wax paper. Bada-bing Bada-boom – drum set!
I also decided to pin some great kid projects for you!
