February Lifestyle Update
I mentioned before I am working on changing my lifestyle and I thought I would update you guys as I change and learn new things. Here is my February Lifestyle Update.
My workouts are going great! I love my sessions with my trainer and I feel like I am getting stronger each time I go to the gym. I still have a ways to go when it comes to where I want to be but I am getting closer each and every day!
I have also been making sure that I get my cardio in. I try to run before my sessions with my trainer because I get their early and I don’t just want to wait. So I go there and run and then stretch a little and then get ready for my trainer. I also try and do 30 minutes of something during the days I’m not at the gym. I have an apple watch so it tells me my steps, calories and goals. It’s great and it keeps me honest.
I have found some more food options for me to eat that aren’t terrible, all natural and super tasty. I need to eat more protein so I usually choose fish and limit a soy or meat replacement to once a week. This yogurt has been bomb and this granola is amazing. yummm. I also had an obsession with tacos for a while this past month and zoodles. yumm.
Stress is a killer, so this is something I am trying to work on and control. I kinda took on a lot of stuff this month and felt it all crashing. It didn’t, but I was still really stressed out at some points. I started making time for at home spa days, more knitting/crochet for myself and reading. I have grown to love reading so much. This book was amazing and this one is interesting and satisfies the nerd in me.
