A couple months back I made a post about my favorite Crochet tools and accessories, so I thought it was only right to do the same for my knitters.
1. Boye Interchangeable Knitting Needles – These are the needles I use all the time when Knitting. I like this one because it has 4 cables, different colored knitting needles and a case to keep it all nice and tidy. I have to be honest the cables are a little stiff, which make it a little difficult when working on circular stuff such as a hat, but if you can get past that and “break them in” the work will become much easier.
2. Single Pointed Knitting Needles – So these aren’t the same pair that’s pictured, but they’re similar in style. I got mine at a liquidation store, Ocean State Job Lot, for $2. Yes, two bucks! I didn’t really have high hopes for them but they’re great! I love wooden needles and these are perfect, they’re really smooth and they’re not rough like some bamboo needles I used to have.
3. Stitch Ring Markers – These are the best stitch markers for me! I like that they’re thin and that you can easily move them from one needle to the other. I have some pretty beaded stitch markers but these are better because the yarn doesn’t catch on anything and get pulled, huge plus!
Well, I know it’s not a lot but I didn’t want to repeat my tape measurer, that’s a favorite for both knitting and crochet, basically it’s an overall favorite. What are some of your knitting accessories you just can’t live without ?
