I VERY recently used up so much of my yarns and you can read about that more here. It honestly felt so great being minimalistic. That didn’t last long, haha. My grandma. the original crafter, had a bunch of yarns. I obviously was going to take them and plan to use them. This is also great because I have some plans for future fairs and classes and I can use these yarns! So today, I thought I would just show you some of the New yarns in my life and see what ideas I have, but also hopefully get some of your ideas for these yarns! as well.
I believe this is mohair. One of the problems with the yarn is that many of them don’t have labels so I don’t know what they are, what brand they are or anything like that. But she has this yarn in a few different colors and they are all the same tone of colors which makes me want to use them all together. Maybe in a nice sweater, a sweater dress…Something like that. What do you think?
I call these basic yarns because I don’t always choose to work with a white or a black when I make things. However, I think these are things you should always have on hand. Mostly because you can fix anything. For example, If you are running out of one color of yarn you can use black or white to almost anything as a stripe so that you don’t necessarily need to buy more or what not.
