Post Workout Acai Smoothie
The other day I went for a morning run and when I came back I was parched but wanted something quick and easy to drink. So I whipped up this post workout acai smoothie and it is delicious !
This was super easy and didn’t take many ingredients which I loved because, again, I was parched and slowly dying haha.
1/2 Cup of Milk – I used raw milk which I will get into later on in the post, but use whatever works for you.
1 Scoop Protein Powder.
Cut up the banana, combine all the ingredients and blend them all together – drink up!
I used these acai frozen pouches. My local whole foods sells them in the frozen section and I usually pick up a few packs when they go on sale. They’re frozen so I can usually have them stocked in the fridge. They’re pretty delicious and I think they’re worth a shot if you’re into smoothie making and need some superfruits in your life.
I also drink raw milk because it has benefits for your gut and it’s totally natural and doesn’t have any chemicals like other milks. I get mine on a local farm close to my house. This is what works for me, but fee free to substitute what works for you and your body.
This is the protein powder I use, again feel free to use whichever one you have in rotation. If you are looking for one, I recommend the one I suggest and this one is great too and I get it on amazon.

Can we talk about how hard it is to take a good, normal food photo?? first of all, I had to clean up this glass like 20 times and then get the picture just right. To all you food bloggers out there – much props!
