All The Wave Crochet Pattern
Today’s pattern is one that I am excited about and surprisingly love how it turned out. It’s a cowl pattern and I got to use quite a bit of yarn which as you know this is one of my resolutions for this year and you can read about that here. Keep reading for the All The Wave Crochet Pattern.
I used three yarns, in the Patons Metallic yarn
I crochet Hook
With Metallic Black and Blue Steel together, create a slip knot and chain 50 stitches, join together with first chain made.
Round 1: SC in each stitch around
Round 2: CH 3, 4 DC in same stitch, skip a stitch, slip stitch in next stitch to join, chain 1, skip a stitch, 5 DC in following stitch. repeat around.
Round 3: CH3, sl stitch in 3rd DC of last row, repeat across.
I repeated rounds 2 and 3 two more times, then I changed to the Metallic teal color and repeated rounds 2 and 3 three more times. I used both ends so that the thickness would be the same (doubled up).
Fasten off and weave in any ends.
I wanted to create an interesting pattern that was easy. Usually shells are for summertime or spring, but there’s nothing wrong with wishing for warm weather and waves and sunshine in your winter projects ! Right?
I also think the yarn used looks great, the ombre effect is easy to recreate and I love the way it looks on. I think it would look really good with a chunky yarn as well, I am thinking something like the Wool And The Gang Crazy Sexy Wool. I have some that I got from their collection at Jo-Ann’s, stay tuned to my Instagram for other options!
What are you working on and do you like this pattern?!
