I just wanted to tell you all about what I did this weekend! I found a YouTube video on how to knit a scarf…with your arms! Yup, that’s right.
It turned out great, and the best part? It only took about a half hour. The piece works up quickly, and once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy.
Here’s some pictures of the detail and how the stitches actually look, and of the scarf itself.
I think it’s a perfect, fashionable and easy gift idea for your friends and family for the holidays!
But, I didn’t stop there, I also made a lovely cable knit ear warmer. I love to knit, but I’ve never really cabled before, I just crochet something to look cable knit. The pattern I used was a great introduction to cabling, and it wasn’t hard!! I’m so happy to be advancing my knitting skills!
(I have a wicked small head)
I was thinking I could use the same pattern to make boot cuffs!
Well, that’s all folks! I hope you enjoyed this post, back to the work week I go….
