Where To Buy Yarn
If you saw my last post then you know that I have considerably used up my yarn collection. So now that I have a clean slate and will start to work on future projects and create more, I want to talk about where I buy yarn and when I buy yarn more importantly.
I have talked about Webs before. It’s an online shop that also has a warehouse in Massachusetts that is about 40 minutes from my house. I try to go up there about once a year because otherwise I will go back to my hoarding ways if I go more than that haha. What I love about Webs is that there is SUCH a variety of yarns, colors, styles, and brands.
I love Craftsy because not only can you get awesome yarns, but you can also check out patterns and videos and lessons. I have an affiliate code if you want to use it to try out some items – check it out below.
Blueprint is a new website owned by Craftsy and I have seen and heard some great things from there. So I think it’s safe to say this will be a great option as well. Perhaps I’ll test it out and review it in a future post.
Local shops are another great place I like to go to shop. However, if you are trying to find good deals, this probably won’t be the place for you. But, there is something about a local yarn shop that just, I don’t even know how to explain it. I love it. Now don’t get me wrong, I have had some really bad moments at yarn shops, but for the most part they’re excellent and filled with people willing to help.
