The Worst Yarn Ever
I don’t typically like making posts like this but this yarn puts me in a bad mood and it actually ruined a project I made that I worked really hard on ! You don’t deserve that, so I thought I would share what yarn to stay away from!
If you remember a few months back I finallllly received my Argyle Sheep box after many many months of waiting for it. In that video I said that I would still use the yarn and give it a fair shot…and I did. The yarn is called Zephyr. It’s a DK weight yarn made by the same brand that sold the box. I received two skeins of it and I decided to put it to the test in my triangle shawl Pattern. Here are my thoughts…
This Yarn Sucks !
The color is great, but the quality is awful ! It’s literally the worst yarn and has no tension and is not strong at all. I have thinner yarn than this and it doesn’t act this way. I don’t have to cut it, I can just rip it. In fact, that’s how I ruined my shawl pattern. See below.
I wrapped the finished shawl for photos and while adjusting it, the yarn ripped.
I have never had this experience and I don’t think you should buy this yarn. It’s not very expensive, but that’s not the point. I have yarn from Michaels that is $3 and this wouldn’t happen.
The reason I am so upset is because this company is legit the worst…poor customer service, and now terrible products? But their marketing is great. So, just beware and knowledgable and don’tzfall for marketing!
What’s the worst yarn you’ve ever used? Have you ever used one that ruined your entire project?
