If you’ve been around for a while then you know I’ve been doing yoga almost every day for about a year now. I go to yoga in the park, try and attend some classes at my gym and pride myself in my home practice. I have one person to thank for my commitment and excitement to do yoga at home – Yoga By Candace.
I have been following her blog consistently, and if you remember I got to go to a workshop of hers a few weeks back. She was even sweeter in person and I learned so much from that one workshop and my practice has benefited from it!
When she announced she was creating a subscription box service that would be full of natural health and beauty products – I signed right up!
So, here’s an unboxing video of me opening and seeing what I got in my box for the first time!
And, its been about a week since I received my products – here’s what I got and what I think of it.
King and Bride Soap and Salve – I am so not fancy enough to know what Salve is, ha! I actually asked Candace in her Forum and she explained it’s great for dry skin (I have extremely dry skin!) so now that I know that I can actually use it, as for the soap…it’s divine!
Kilo Tea – this is the loose tea I got in my box, I tried it one rainy afternoon, it was so aromatic and delicious. I will definitely keep brewing and buying some more.
Fitglow Beauty – This lip gloss is a beautiful pink nude with gold fleks in it. It is a shade that would look great on everyone, can top any lipstick or be worn alone. I keep it in my purse and apply to my lips. It’s very comfortable to wear, not too sticky. I am definitely going to try out some of her skincare items next, my skin is super sensitive so I think natural products will be the best for it.
Soulfull Essence Mat Cleaner – I really like this, I got a small size of it so it’s perfect to take to class with me. During the summer I do yoga in the park and I bring my mat outside, so it’s nice that I can clean it right after class. I also sprayed a little on my towel and practiced with it – I liked it a lot!
Activz Fruit and Veggie Powders – I’ve never seen this before, I think it’s so cool! It’s like a powder version of fruits and veggies and you can mix it in your shakes, I have tried this once and plan on using it/repurchasing.
TOMS Coffee and Gift Card – I don’t drink coffee. Well, that’s a lie. I love the taste of coffee, but I don’t drink it to “wake up” or because I need it. In fact I only enjoy a cup of coffee on the weekend, I never drink it during the week. Unless of course, your CFO brings in your favorite brew of Nespresso and offers it to you haha! I haven’t tried this yet, because I was drinking the tea that I got, but it sounds delicious.
Erbaviva Body Oil – Wow this stuff is amazing. I love body oils because my skin is that dry. Even in the summer (side note, should I go to a doctor for this?). This is a great oil for your skin and it smells really good. I will put it on hold though because I am currently using the Maracuja oil from Tarte and I want to finish that before I start this one. The website also offers natural deoderant and I know I will be placing an order for that.
Emmy’s Organics Macaroons – Well, you saw in the video that I couldn’t even wait til the end of the video to finish them. They were SO good, cocunutty, dark chocolatey, YUM! I am afraid to repurchase but…
Wonderfully Raw Dipperz – These were really yummy, if you’re someone who likes to snack on salty items rather than chocolate I definitely recommend this. But, because I feel like you should try to never eat anything out of a bag, I can easily make some kale chips with sea salt and add a hint of ranch powder to achieve the same taste more wholesomely, but this is a great on the go snack.
My Other Bag – Confession, I saw that when people would go to YBC retreats they would get these in their swag bags and I would be SO jealous. I was almost considering buying one for myself. I love this tote, it’s made of really great quality and the Stella McCartney bag on the front is so cute and matches my actual purse. (Yes, I bought myself a Stella McCartney bag because her name was Stella, just like my dog, but also her bags are vegan win-win!).
I loved my box and am already planning my repurchases from these companies, I hope you check them out!!
