Fancy seeing you here my friends!
I know everyone is saying this but HOW is it December 30th?! We finally got our first snowfall – well it was sleet – but yay! I love living in New England and snow is my favorite!
The past couple of days I have spent catching up with family and working on my 2016 intentions. Yesterday I went to Yoga and we talked about intentions which if you aren’t familiar with, an intention is bringing your attention and awareness to a quality or virtue you wish to cultivate for your practice both on and off of your mat. So in the spirit of resolutions, I thought I would share my intentions with you.
1,001 Knits Intentions
2015 was a huge year for 1,001 Knits. I feel like I crossed a lot of goals off of my list and am in the process of building something great. For 2016 I just want to keep working on my content and my videos as well as reach out more and be more accessible to my readers and followers – perhaps some pop up workshops!
I also intend to work on posting more regularly. Right now I am on a 3 times a week schedule and I think my blog will benefit with a couple extra posts – we’ll see!
Since I was inspired by my yoga class for this, I thought I would talk about my yoga intentions. Personally, I will be working on meditating more and working on flying but that doesn’t mean I will forget my flexibility. I am excited because Candace from Yoga By Candace has a new program coming in the new year – perfect!
To help with my yoga I will continue to work with my dad and boyfriend on weight – lifting and strength. I am so lucky to basically have two trainers!
I was sort of hesitant writing this because, it’s personal. I want to be more open and invite more happiness into my life. After reading The Gratitude Diaries I have been more aware of the good in life, and it really is life changing. I’ve always been a glass half full kind of gal, but I think being more mindful will help everything that I do.
