Hello my lovelies!
Today’s post is a crochet mini snood pattern. I made this Friday night. Yes, you heard that right I made it in ONE NIGHT. Also, let’s not talk about my wild and crazy Friday night, haha!
Anyway, I made this using the remainder of my Malabrigo yarn from my two way knit headband pattern And I loveeeee the way this came out. I call it a mini snood or cowl because it’s small, but the bulky yarn makes it warm and amazing, especially now.
Side note: it is currently 12 degrees outside.
Okay back to the important stuff. So, it’s a mini snood because it’s not as big as your regular snood, which makes this comfortable to add as an accessory to your wardrobe and you can really wear it every day. I wore it to work and I got SO many compliments, and I kept warm! My offie is an ice box all of a sudden so I plan to make more of these to go with all my outfits. I wish that I had enough yarn to make a huge snood with yarn like this because I think it will look so fashionable! as well as practical.
The pattern is extremely easy, like super easy. The only thing that might be a little more advanced is if you don’t know how to work in the back loops. Basically, instead of working through both loops when crocheting, you work only in the back loop.
Mini Snood Pattern
Round 1: Half Double Crochet (HDC) in each stitch across
Round 2: HDC in back loops only in each stitch across
Round 3- 6: Repeat round 2. Fasten off and sew ends together, weave in ends.
See! I told you it’s super easy.
