Getting Ready For Spring Knits !
Hello ! This was supposed to go up yesterday, but as I woke up there was sleet, and hail and snow and I couldn’t do anything but laugh at the irony and decided not to post haha. Since today is 40 degrees and should be sunny, a little bit more appropriate for a springtime post! Keep reading to see what I do when I am getting ready for spring knits.
Yarn Switch Out
I like to switch out my yarns by incorporating more bright colors, cottons, fabric yarns, etc. I have been working on something really exciting (stay tuned to tomorrow!) which has really been helping me use up my yarn stash ! I love using my yarns up and finishing #wips and starting new projects.
I like to pin some project ideas and inspiration to get myself in the mood for spring knits. I think this time of year is so fun and I can be so free and creative with my color schemes, patterns, etc.
Now, again, it’s still cold in CT so I haven’t been doing a lot of this. But this past Saturday the weather was gorgeous ! I was getting my hair done #purple and before that I was on a walk, sat on a bench and just finished crocheting this hat that I was working on at the time. There is nothing better to me than being outside and doing what I love.
I like to go shopping and see what types of things are popular or are being sold. I think this is an important step for me to get ready for spring knits. I see things I know that I can make, and when I do make them, I get so much joy in telling people that yes, I did make that.
