Hello My Lovely Crafters!
Today I’m sharing how to make the lacey dress that I revealed on the blog last week. The beauty of this dress is that you don’t need to be an advanced crocheter to make it! The square is a really easy pattern, the only downside is you need to make A LOT of squares, so just remember, patience is a virtue!
Another thing about the pattern, I sized it on me, so keep that in mind when you’re sewing your piece together. It’s great because I know what looks good on me and what make me look like I’m wearing a potato sack…
- Super Fine wool, or woolike yarn. I used Loops and Threads Woolike in Black and I bought two balls. (Keep in mind that depending on your size and how long you want to make it, you may need more.)
- F-Crochet Hook, you can even go with an E hook, but your squares will be a little smaller.
After you’ve made all the squares, it’s sewing time! I turned my squares sideways and sewed them like diamonds, or a Rhombus, and basically shaped it on me. I kinda winged it, but it turned out well, so I can’t complain!
Let me know if you need any more clarification or more pictures, I would be glad to elaborate!
