Life and Party Update
Today’s post is just as you may have thought, a life update post. I took last week off unexpectedly and it was just the right amount of time to rejuvenate and refresh myself for the blog.
If you haven’t been reading along, my sister and I planned a party for my parents 40th anniversary party. I had chronicled the events leading up to it here and here if you want to catch up. I thought I would let you know that the party was a success ! Not to say that there weren’t a lot of hiccups or malfunctions along the way – but my parents were surprised and so happy ! Which is all we ever wanted for them anyway. Mama and Papa – I love you !
I plan to make an entire post or video about the party because I think looking back it’s a funny story. Now that all the stress is over with I can thoroughly laugh at the antics that went on, so stay tuned for that.
Guys, I have not done anything for the holidays. Like, I had so many idea for gifts to give and make and just….nada. Between holiday parties, party planning, and continuing to focus on my health and working out I just can’t find the time to focus on making. Now that it’s all subsided, I can hopefully bang out some good projects. So, it’s crunch time. I will be making a post about some easy gifts to give make before Christmas. Stay tuned for that, well hopefully I will be able to finish them !
What are some gifts you’ve made for people? Let me know ! I need all the ideas I can get.
As mentioned earlier, I have been working out, eating mindfully and making this a top goal in my life. I have recently stepped up my game and in addition to my twice a week training sessions, I go to the gym an extra day of the week as well as on the weekends (5 days a week essentially). I switch out my workouts, add more and more weights and I have been extremely happy with my results. I slimmed down a little, but also gained more strength and can see some muscle tone peeking through! I’ll continue to post about my progress and any tips and tricks along the way! Just remember if you think you can’t do it, I promise that you can.
