I thought I would spend some time updating you guys with a weekend review . I don’t know if it will be a weekly occurrence on Mondays, or every now and then. We’ll see how you guys like it though and hopefully you guys can comment below on your weekends!
Friday was going to be a good day. My boyfriend and I were supposed to go to this delicious restaurant for our 5 year anniversary. But I wasn’t feeling well at all. So we decided to order uber eats (use my code Eats-felices11 for $5 off your order. It wasn’t what we planned, but delicious nonetheless
With an early morning wakeup call I drove my parents to the airport at 4:30 am (daughter of year). Still super sick though, I came back home and went back to bed for the whole day basically. I took the dogs out a few times, we played with them but I did nothing useful and felt like a bum all day haha.
Still not feeling well, almost worse even the the prior days. I decided it was time to go to the walk-in clinic.
That would have been all find and good if I didn’t misplace my insurance cards. I was told that I absolutely needed that to get seen. So I went online to find that out. However, I don’t really know that password. But I had it on my work laptop..so I went to that.
Except nothing can go easy for me when I am sick, my password was not synced to my computer or something weird like that and I couldn’t log in to my laptop. Disaster haha. I honestly started laughing at that point. Anyway, we got it all figured out and I went to the walk in. I never go to the doctor so I must have really thought I was dying. Thankfully, the doctor said there are a few bugs going around that I might have caught. This was good news because I really don’t like taking antibiotics for anything, It throws my body out of whack. I grabbed some of this spray that has helped my throat, but you have to really aim it in your throat because if not, your tongue is going to get numb haha.
Sunday was also spent watching clips from this Russian show called “This evening” and they were honoring this songwriter who wrote some of my favorite Russian songs. If you don’t know, I am a first gen. American born from Russian immigrants. So many of the songs that I heard growing up were from the 80’s in Russia.
With all that rest I am ready to get going and start the week off on the right foot!
