This past weekend was so much fun and different than my usual weekends where I catch up on work, blog, film and go to the gym. So, I thought I would share my weekend review and hopefully you will let me know what you guys did !
I went to work and had a really busy day actually. I was in meeting after meeting and then I left and went to the mall. I had to pick up a gift for my best friend and you know I had to go to Lululemon and get myself workout leggings.
Pro Tip: I always WunderUnder luons and they always have some styles on sale. They usually have designs or embellishments on them but they fit exactly the same, just cheaper!
I went home and fell asleep. I don’t know what happened haha, but I laid down and was out. I ended up My boyfriend came home and took me out to dinner.
Fun fact: I don’t usually nap, but when I do I wake up cranky AF. So he figured feeding me would help this out – it works haha
We went to this new noodle place in my town and it was great! It’s been so cold and soup was just what I wanted.
We went home and watched Tom Segura standup on netflix – highly recommend!
Woke up early to go to New Jersey to visit my niece and nephews. I get really car sick so I usually prefer to drive, but instead my dad drove. So it wasn’t the best drive, but it was worth it.
Any suggestions for dealing with car sickness?
We had brunch at the house, went to the playground and we ate pizza. it was such a good day and the kiddos are just the most hilarious people I know! They also thought it was fun to torture aunty….
I woke up and planned my week, went to the gym and put my workout on my Instagram stories if you want to check them out. I can also save them for you (just let me know!)
Then I went and grabbed a quick breakfast with my friend, went to my fave coffee shop and got some work done and planned some fun things coming up.
The weather was pretty nice and I tried to get outside. Not too far from me is an outdoor shopping area and I took full advantage and picked up two things I have been wanting for quite some time! One is the Four Hour Work week by Tim Ferris. I’ve read this book on my kindle but I found that I like the real pages and highlighting effects of books.
The second was the Five Minute Journal. I can’t believe I found it in a store! It’s a guided journal that simplifies journaling which is one of my goals this year.
Side Note: I am working on creating some patterns for the blog – what types of things do you want to see?
What did you do this weekend!?
